Multiple Sclerosis

The table below lists some very Interesting articles relating to Multiple Sclerosis. When reading the different reports of those with success at halting and some reversing the symptoms, it is possible to see advice that is common to all. That is the removal of grains from the diet - this may either be as a low carbohydrate, high fat diet or a gluten free diet. Some recommend removing animal fats and replacing with polyunsaturated fats - however, when one studies the detail of the other negatives of polyunsaturated fats is this such a good idea? Could one be improving one condition with the potential of introducing other conditions? Note that those recommending the polyunsaturated fat route also reccommend high vitamin and mineral supplementation.

Given success has been achieved following the low carb - high animal fat diet, it does seem to be the grains that are the factor that is common to all dietary approaches. Another nutritent that is regularly referenced as important in the aid to reversing symptoms is Vitamin D...a fat soluble vitamin.
